With more than forty wines produced on-site in our state-of-the-art winemaking facility, a restaurant serving up cuisine made to pair perfectly with our wines, all on a property surrounded by sustainably farmed vineyards, we are proud to offer a variety of Tasting and Tour options hosted by our educated and entertaining hospitality staff.

Tastings are available everyday until 6pm. Reservations for public tours are recommended, as space is limited. For booking public tours within the next 48 hours, please call Guest Services at (707) 857-1471.
Reservations are required for groups of 12 or more. Please contact Guest Services for special pricing and information.

Experience the 2014 harvest with this hands on adventure! Begin the day with a light breakfast and coffee overlooking the Alexander Valley. Afterwards, you’ll pick grapes as the morning mist rises over the vineyard and enjoy brix sampling, test barrel and tank sampling, punch down grapes in our open-top fermentors, and sample fermenting juice. Complete your day with a winemaker Q&A session and an exclusive 3-course lunch. Limited to 6 people per date.

Join us every Wednesday in September to celebrate California Wine Month! Your senses will tour the earth as we show (you taste!) how our award winning California varietals are unique in comparison to wines from other regions around the world. Rick Toyota, our Director of Hospitality Sales, will guide you through this EXCLUSIVE experience. Having completed the advanced level exam with the Court of Master Sommeliers, as well as being a Certified Wine Educator, Rick brings his extensive knowledge of wine to the table teaching you the historic, viticultural, and regional differences of each varietal.

We invite you to play along with us in this innovative new experience combining our love of wine, music and discovery. See, wine and music naturally share a certain harmony. But can wine and music really influence each other? With the help of music curators, Sonomadic, we have developed a blindfolded sensory experience centered around tasting wine while listening to a variety of music where we will explore this concept further. Join us for a fascinating wine tasting that explores how flavors and aromas in wine are accentuated by simply turning off the lights. Guests are blindfolded and led to our Winemaker’s Lab for the tasting, which is hosted by Hoby Wedler, a blind graduate student from UC Davis. It's a unique and unforgettable tasting experience perfect for any wine lover. Reservations Required.

Named for the little dance wine bottles do while moving across the bottling line, this tasting will give you a sneak peek at our state-of-the-art bottling facility. We'll begin with an overview of our property, teach you about our various appellation and vineyard practices, and tell you the stories behind each of our wine labels (Teaser: they all carry personal significance to Francis).

Kids Smoothie Tasting

  • Takes place in our Pavilion
  • No reservations necessary

While adults sample the variety of wines at our tasting bars, children can learn how to taste different flavors and smells of seasonal fruits through blended smoothies. The winery's Smoothie Expert will blend the season’s bounty of fruits into delicious and unique smoothies, where the kids can guess the flavors.
