• A lush, medium-bodied red wine made from an unusual French grape with a California history.
  • One of few wine varietals that gets deep red color from grape’s pulp and skin.

Francis Coppola remembers his grandfather making homemade wine in his New York basement from Alicante Bouschet grapes shipped in by train from California. Yearning for this nostalgic varietal he grew up with, Francis commissioned a search for the best Alicante vineyards in the state. Made from fruit of 85-year old vines found in Lodi, our Alicante Bouschet is rich in color, medium-bodied and loaded with lush, jammy fruit flavors.
