Agostino Coppola. Grandfather to Francis. Raconteur to all he encountered. As a child, he played among the ancient ruins of a school run by famed polymath Pythagoras—Pitagora in Italian. Two lives well-lived inspired this well-made wine. Tempting notes of blackberry bramble, earthy clove and dense cocoa culminating in a lush black cherry finish.

In the sixth century BCE, a school was built by Greek polymath and philosopher Pythagoras—Pitagora in Italian.
