Membership FAQ

  • How does a Wine Family membership work?

    Joining the Wine Family will allow you to receive unique shipments of wine from Francis Ford Coppola Winery, while enjoying member-only benefits! As new wines are created and released, you will receive the exclusive first bottlings in your shipments, which will be delivered right to your doorstep. The shipments are sent in spring (March), summer (June), fall (September), and winter (November). Each shipment contains either 4 or 6 bottles of handcrafted wines, depending on which membership you sign up for.

  • What is the difference between each membership level?

    We have two amazing memberships for you to choose from to match your wine preferences and lifestyle.

    The Amici membership is perfect if you enjoy friendly, approachable, everyday wines. Amici members receive four annual shipments (March, June, September, and November) of four bottles each. Amici shipments are priced at approximately $50-$75 per shipment (not including tax and shipping). The wine selections typically feature easy-drinking wines from our Diamond Collection, Rosso & Bianco, Votre Santé, Director's, and Sofia collections.

    The Amanti membership showcases the specialties of the Sonoma region vineyard sites behind our most coveted releases such as Archimedes, Eleanor, and Francis Coppola Reserve wines. Amanti members receive four annual shipments (March, June, September, and November) of six bottles each. Amanti shipments are priced at approximately $125-$200 per shipment (not including tax and shipping). This membership focuses on limited-production wines including Francis Coppola Reserve, award-winning Director's Cut wines, and other limited bottlings.

  • How do the charges work for Wine Family shipments?

    There is no annual fee to be an active member! You will only be charged for the wine you receive in each shipment, with the membership discount. You may join the membership at any time throughout the year. Upon joining, the current shipment (spring, summer, fall, or winter) will be sent to you in order to activate your membership benefits. This way, you will not miss out on receiving the current releases!  

    After your initial shipment, you will receive the next quarterly shipment in March, June, September, or November, whichever comes next. Your card on file will be charged, and the shipment will be sent within the following two weeks for you to enjoy. The charge will be the retail value of your shipment, less your member discount, plus any applicable tax and shipping charges.

  • How will I be notified of my upcoming shipments?

    You will receive a shipment notification via email prior to each quarterly shipment from Membership@FrancisFordCoppolaWinery.com. This email will let you know about important shipment information, including which wines will be featured, when to expect your card on file to be charged, when the package will be shipped, and how much the shipment will cost. You will then receive another email from DeliveryService@TheFamilyCoppola.com once your package has shipped with tracking numbers for your reference. 

  • Why will I have to provide my email address?

    We do not want our members to miss out on important shipment information or winery happenings! Your email address will be used to keep you in the loop on upcoming shipments and special offers, to contact you regarding your account, and to invite you to exclusive winery events. We will never share or sell your email address. For additional information, please read our privacy policy.

  • How long is my commitment to the Wine Family?

    We would love for you to stay in the Wine Family for many years to come, but understand if you need to close your membership. After you receive your first shipment, there is no further obligation. Should you wish to close your membership, please reach out to us by calling (707) 857-1436 or by emailing your cancelation request to Membership@FrancisFordCoppolaWinery.com. We do believe that you will not want to leave after enjoying the great benefits membership has to offer!

  • How will I be able to utilize my membership benefits online?

    Upon joining the Wine Family, your benefits will begin right away! You will be able to purchase member-exclusive wines, receive the member discount on online purchases, and purchase tickets to member-exclusive events.

    To login to your membership account, first go to the Sign In Page and enter your email address that you provided on your membership application. Next, click on Forgot Password, below the Login button. An email will be sent allowing you to reset your password. Once you are logged in, you will receive your member benefits and discounts online immediately.

    By logging in to your account, you may also update your shipping address, contact address, and billing information. To change this information associated with your membership, scroll down to the bottom of your account profile page until you find the Club section. You must update your information within this section for it to apply to your membership.

  • Why is a signature required for delivery?

    A signature of someone 21 years of age or older is required by law for all deliveries that contain alcoholic beverages. For your ease and convenience, we encourage a business address for your shipment. If you are having challenges receiving your shipments, please call us so we may provide alternative solutions.

  • Will I be able to suspend my membership temporarily?

    Although we will not want you to miss out on any of our great wines, you may skip one shipment per year with our suspension option. With this option, you may receive one less shipment while maintaining membership benefits. Please contact us, and we will be happy to assist you.

  • Do members receive benefits at other local establishments?

    There are some amazing hotels and services in Sonoma County, and we would like to share our favorites with you! As a member of the Wine Family, you will be eligible for discounted rates and exclusive packages at some of the most popular hotels and transportation services in the area.   • I want to purchase a gift membership; how does that work?

    A Wine Family gift membership is the perfect way to help a loved one celebrate a special occasion! With a gift membership, the gift recipient will receive all shipments and membership material, and the charge will be processed to your card. Your gift recipient may enjoy all of the benefits that come with being a member. We will also send them a membership packet, membership card, and gift notification shortly after you sign them up. You may choose the length of membership when you enroll them, or enroll them indefinitely.
