"Winemaking and filmmaking are two great art forms...In both cases you have to start with top notch raw materials—whether it's the land or a script" -Francis Ford Coppola
California’s 2015 harvest featured great fruit development for Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. Sonoma gave us structure and ripe juicy fruit, while San Luis Obispo supplied floral notes and red fruit flavors.
Like the name suggests, King Kong Cabernet offers big, bold flavors and a dramatic finish. This is a particularly powerful wine. Rugged tannin structure and fragrant oak frames luscious flavors of black raspberries, blueberries and plums that are woven between notes of tobacco, incense, and baking spices. There is intensity to the fruit with vivid aromas and a generous, velvety palate that is weighted and complex as a result of this impressive vintage. The hint of floral and graphite that unfurls on the finish makes this Cabernet even more enticing.
