2017 Winery of the Year

Tastings & Experiences

Francis Ford Coppola Winery is pleased to announce that we are taking reservations for wine tastings. This will be part of a phased and measured reopening of our Hospitality Center. We will be following guidelines established by Sonoma County and the State of California as part of the resumption of business in our area.

Francis Ford Coppola Winery will require all visitors to make reservations to visit the property. We will not be able to accommodate your visit for dining or wine tasting without a reservation.

We will reopen with temporary hours of operation from 11:00am to 5:00pm. The final tasting reservation for the day will be at 4:00pm. Please call us at (707)857-1471 to make your reservations. We will only be able to accommodate up to six people per reservation group for wine tastings.

Check-in for tasting reservations will be at our Guest Service counter. Only guests with reservations or confirmed curbside pick-up times will be permitted on property. All tastings will be by seated, outdoor table service only. We will be limiting the number of guests at any given time in our Hospitality Center to ensure adherence to social distancing practices. There will be no service at our indoor tasting bars.

All guests agree to follow all safety protocols and precautions required by the winery. All guests acknowledge their obligation to enter the winery premises only if they are experiencing no COVID-19 symptoms identified by the Centers for Disease Control and the California Department of Public Health, and have not had a fever or felt feverish without the use of medication in the last 72 hours prior to their visit.

For the safety of our visitors and staff, we will require that face masks be worn by all guests during your visit as you transition through the property before and after your tasting. Only while you are seated for your tasting or dining at Rustic will the wearing of face masks not be required. Visitors are asked to bring their own face masks. Without a face mask, we will not be able to accommodate your visit. This is for the safety of all of our guests and staff.

At this time our bocce courts will not be open.

Join us for a new tasting experience, featuring a selection of four wines from across our Sonoma County and California portfolios. This seated flight is $30 per person.

Our seated tasting experience is complimentary for Wine Family Members.  Not a member yet?  Join here before your visit to enjoy all of the perks and benefits, including complimentary tastings and discounts on dining, wine and merchandise during your visit.

To assure that we provide the best possible safe and secure environment for your visit, our staff has taken the following measures:

  • All of our staff are required to wear face masks while working with guests or in close proximity to co-workers.
  • All of our staff are required to wear gloves in the recovery of our tasting locations.
  • We have rearranged our furnishings and tasting areas to assure a minimum of 6-feet of social distancing between seated tasting areas.
  • All high-contact surfaces will be cleaned and sanitized between each reservation. This includes tables, chairs, glassware, and other touch points. Disposable menus and spittoon cups will be provided for single use.
  • Common areas like restrooms, staircase railings, door handles, and other high usage areas and fixtures will be cleaned and sanitized on a continuous basis throughout the day.
  • All staff members are required to follow rigorous handwashing procedures between all guest interactions. Staff will also be screened before each shift to assure they are fit to work.
  • We are unable to allow shared tastings during this time.

Please note that we will continue to modify our policies as the circumstances or the guidelines established by Sonoma County and the State of California change.

We reserve the right to refuse access or service to customers who (1) display any symptoms consistent with COVID-19; (2) fail to comply with our social distancing protocols; and/or (3) fail to wear a face mask.
