James got his start with Francis Ford Coppola Winery over 10 years ago as a Guest Services Associate, helping guests on-property with their dining, tasting and pool reservations.

He later worked as one of our Wine Family associates from 2015-2017 and has been in his current position as Wine Concierge for the past 8 years. James prides himself on providing unparalleled, personalized customer service. Whether it’s helping with wine orders, providing information on our full wine portfolio, or coordinating your next visit to the winery, James is here to help get everything in place for you!

Originally from Littleton, Colorado, James made his way to the Bay Area when he attended Santa Clara University from 2007-2011. He lives in Santa Rosa, California with his wife, Felicia (who also works at the winery as Manager of Safety), and their son, Jack, who they welcomed to the family last year! When he’s not at work, James enjoys watching and discussing classic films, adding to his vinyl record collection, and watching his favorite NBA player and team, Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets.

James is a huge fan of both wine and film, and his favorite Coppola wines are the Director’s Cut Cinema and Francis Coppola Reserve Viognier. His favorite Coppola movies are The Godfather, and, of course, Jack.
